Splatoon 2 Inks Its Way Onto the Switch

July 19, 2017

The reviews are in for "Splatoon 2"....and they are damn good. Nintendo reviewers everywhere are praising the game for its great innovation and improvements from the previous installment, "Splatoon" which was released on the Wii U in 2015. Being the third major reason for Nintendo fans to buy a switch, it truly is a game changer for people in the market for a new console.

Adding Splatoon 2 to its arsenal, the Switch now has yet another reason for people to buy this highly sought after console, and I do mean highly sought after. Switches have been nearly impossible to find at most major retailers, and with the launch of "Splatoon 2" they will be even harder to find....and that is not a bad thing. The more demand, the more Nintendo will see how great they are doing and will continue to follow this path they're on. Now, in theory, this should lead to Nintendo producing more and more Switch consoles hopefully making it a bit more easy to find.

"Splatoon" for the Wii U was a smash hit among Nintendo fans, but those on the outside saw it as more of a kids game because of the terrible commercials and marketing they had. Thankfully with the Switch's more adult marketing tactics and targeted playerbase, more people will start taking a serious interest in Splatoon. Nintendo also seems to be trying to incorporate e-sports heavily into "Splatoon 2" which again, is NOT a bad thing! "Splatoon 2" also seems to be a great multiplayer game to play with your friends, and possibly even a great way to get your parentals into gaming! It seems to be a game that'll be fun for everything, casual or hardcore, noob or expert.

So this Friday, make sure you've got a nice cup of coffee at hand, and be ready for a day of gaming if you decide to pick up "Splatoon 2".
